Imagination to Implementation

About us

The Blueprint is an integrated design & implementation practice focused on public art, branding, wayfinding, placemaking, & customer experience. Our solutions encompass all touch points; public art, signage, bespoke objects, lighting and digital activations and we integrate them within the interiors and landscape.

We design experiences that consider the total environment. Our aim is to predict and guide the behaviours between users and the spaces they inhabit. We work across all urban environments, from corporate and retail to airports, hotels and educational campuses, and throughout cities and masterplanned communities.

Our global portfolio of work is a testament to how art, graphics and media enhance spaces, guide visitors in an intuitive way and transform places into magnetic destinations.

We work with all project stakeholders to understand the design and operational objectives, while considering the back story and history of the location. This enables us to develop a narrative and design theme that truly connects with all users and contributes to the placemaking outcomes.

The Blueprint has been operating for over 20 years and our studios comprise of 30 staff globally. Our team’s knowledge of materials, technology, fabrication and implementation processes, provides certainty on cost and buildability from the very beginning right through to the completion of a project.

Our Philosophy

We investigate the boundaries between disciplines, blurring the lines between art and design.Experience is at the centre of our design process and human interactions shape our designs and the way we operate.

Our ability to unpack the concept design, resolve the technical details and then document sets us apart.
We thrive on rich collaborations to push our thinking and are continuously inspired by the unique perspective of artists.
Our studios are exploratory labs, facilitating experimentation of new materials and technology, allowing us to push the limits of design.

Our ideas enrich spaces through a deep connection to art, culture, people and place
