Architectural Features
The feature shade canopies are situated on the podium level of stage 1 of the $2Billion West Side Place development. There are 1376 apartments in stage 1, as well as the tallest hotel in the southern hemisphere at 270m high.
The Ritz Carlton Hotel boasts 263 luxury hotel suites, offering panoramic views, quality finishes and luxurious amenities including day spa, restaurants & bars, concierge services, business centre, 500-seat grand ballroom & outdoor garden terrace.
The Canopies are a significant feature in the public realm on Level 11, offering a place to rest and recharge & providing a sculptural piece amongst the beautiful gardens.
Working with the Builder and architectural design team, our studio worked through detail design, engineering, documentation, manufacture and implementation to ensure the canopies fit the design intent developed by Rush Wright Associates.
